Dr. S. Pavai Madheswari , 22 years of teaching experience in Engineering colleges and a rich research experience of 14 years in the field of Queueing Systems and its applications to Computer Communication Systems. She has multiple degrees to her credit which vouches for her passion for learning such as, Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras in 1986, Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 1988 and Master of Philosophy in Mathematics from College of Engineering, Anna University in 1990, Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. MGR University, Chennaiand a Doctoral degree in Mathematics (Stochastic Processes) from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2004.

She has 22 journal and 15 conference publications to her credit (H Index – 9; i10 Index – 8; RG Score – 11.63). She was awarded the CSIR joint UGC Junior Research Fellowship during the year 1989 – 1991. Under her guidance three scholars have completed doctoral degree and currently six are pursuing. Her research interest is Retrial queueing models and currently working on Discrete time queues with applications to Communication systems and Wireless Sensor Networks.

She has also been adjudged the ‘Best Faculty Award’ by Cognizant Technology Solutions for outstanding performance for the year 2015 -16. Further, the alumni of RMKEC have recognized her service and given the “Service Excellence Award for her astonishing efforts and service in the institution for more than 20 years” in the year 2017.
