The Centre has a 155 Mbps dedicated Internet link.The Centre supports an institute wide fiber optic network and wireless that connects all the academic departments, hostels, library and other central facilities to the Computer Centre.

RMK management is pleased to allot two hrs of INTERNET hours for hostel students daily .

As per the following schedule students are utilizing the facilities.

The Centre provides system administration and technical support which include Software installation, Network monitoring (both wired & wireless), Internet connection and digital library etc.

It has a number of state-of-the-art Servers and licensed Application softwares.

The CC has a technical staff team under the leadership of Mr N Shanmugam ,Programmer which has developed and implemented CAMPUS PERFORMANCE TRACKER (CPT) software in the RMK Engineering College Intranet that is being used by the college faculty members and staff and various applications needed by the college.

The modern seminar hall is located in the Computer Centre for a practical approach in education and training to meet the demands of the rapidly changing global environments.

Each department of R M K ENGINEERING college is housed with one seminar hall with LCD and multimedia facilities. In total we are having 15 seminar hall and they are well Maintained by CC.

It provides support in conducting on line mock aptitude test and BEC communication skills lab test.

It has 180 KVA redundant Uninterrupted Power Supply with 360 KVA standby Power Generators set and Central Air Conditioning.
