RMKEC has a well-established fully air conditioned library and information centre with huge collection of 80174 volumes and 21895 titles, Covering all major fields of science and engineering technology with international standard resources. The ultra-modern central library is located in Swaminadha Naidu Block covers an area of 1263 Sq.m., the library and information centre has separate reading and reference section to service the Undergraduate and Post graduate students, staff members and research scholars. Books are classified and arranged according to the Dewey decimal classification (DDC - 22nd Ed.) scheme.

The library has an Institutional Membership with several external libraries such as, British Council Library, MALIBNET, MMA Library (Madras Management Association) and Anna University Library. The DELNET access providing the Staff, Students and Research Scholars for the benefit resource sharing in the field of Science and technology.

The Library Subscribed E –resources are available as per AICTE MANDATORY subscribing IEEE, ASME, ASCE, SPRINGER, ELSEVIER, Mc Graw Hill, EBSCO, J - GATE (Engineering and Technology) J- GATE (Management Sciences) and ASTM Digital Library.

In addition to this, departments have their own departmental library. All students of Management Studies are provides with four news papers namely Business Line, Business Standard, Economic Times and Financial Express, daily.

The Library has fully computerized automated system for the transaction of the books and other reading materials. The online Public Access catalogue (OPAC) is available in our Library.

The College is providing 600 numbers of books (Each Semester) free of cost for the meritorious students (Top Rank Holders) of their own choice to develop their interest in studies and to become toppers continuously.

We are going to provide the NPTL (National Program Technology Enhanced Learning) through online web and web video courses in engineering and humanities stream in the near future.
