Dr. K. R. Senthil Kumar completed his Doctorate from IIT Madras, completed his post-graduation in the area of Automobile Engineering at MIT , Anna University and his graduation in Mechanical Engineering at Annamalai University. He has 28 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Academic Administration.

         He has published 24 research papers in International, National Journals and conferences. He has published 4 patents. His area of research is Pollution control using different combustion Techniques, Turbulence inducement in combustion Chambers, Heat recovery to enhance efficiency in thermal systems and New Product Development. He has received two grants worth of Rs. 30 Lakhs Under MODROBS scheme from AICTE, New Delhi. He has organized STTP’s and Refresher course sponsored by ISTE, AICTE, New Delhi and Anna University, Chennai. He has organized National conferences and Symposiums. He is a Life Member in Professional bodies like Institute of Engineers (IEI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Society for Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE).
