Where other colleges fail to place a student successfully after the completion of course,RMK endeavours to place all its students and also encourages dual placements.Apart from standard academics, what make RMK unique are the frequent trainings they conduct to develop one’s communication skills, which transforms every introvert into a confident speaker.Overall ,the entire management of RMK put a lot of effort in satisfying all the needs of its students.

My experience as an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at R.M.K. Engineering college was rewarding beyond my belief. I am grateful to my teachers and Management for guiding me to become a successful entrepreneur.

After college, did Construction Project Management at Lambton College, Toronto. Then, joined as Project Co- coordinator at JMC Emerald Corporation, where I work with the estimator for quantity take off and assist with manager in preparation of project quote.
I may not have any indian experience since I came to Canada immediately after finishing my engineering. I didn’t realise that the knowledge and the technical discipline that I learned from RMK Engineering College would help me a lot in this tier 1 country until I went through my first interview. Those interview skills and the way of approach that I learned from RMK was a good foundation. The BEC training that I had during my under graduation got me the idea of IELTS that pretty much opened door for more opportunities and also for cracking the exam successfully.

As a proud alumnus from the department of civil engineering, R .M.K Engineering College, I like to share my experience of four years I had in the lush environment. The strength of the department is the well experienced faculty members. They identify the passion of each student, guide and motivate them to achieve their career goals. I have been able to develop as an individual, what I am today is because of the knowledge acquired and the encouragement I received from my HoD and faculties. The management is keen in sculpturing the discipline among the students and has given a great opportunity to broaden our knowledge beyond engineering discipline by providing excellent training facilities and career development programs. The clean and green campus, transport facility and the sumptuous food served have always kept my mind enthusiastic during my graduate program. I am proud to be an RMKian.

I am very much Happy to have selected RMK Engineering college for my Degree, where one will not only get knowledge and exposure but with Discipline. I am very much privileged to have got moulded from the hands of experienced faculties of Civil Department. Guidance from HoD with the support of other faculty members will ensure success in each & every step of knowledge gaining process.

Civil Engineering Department of RMKEC has played a major role in moulding my personality. They teach the core values of life including Discipline, Responsibility, and Competency along with regular academics.

Being RMKian, I have evolved as a better individual, both technically and personally. The faculty members were friendly and made learning enthusiastic. The placement training provided by the college was helpful in acquiring 6 placement offers in reputed companies. The CoE on Concrete and formwork provided an opportunity to get placed in L & T Construction. Our department has moulded me with Moral and Ethical values. I am proud to be an RMKian.
