About CoE – The Full Stack Engineering Centre of Excellence Laboratory is established with the support of Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited for training the students in Full Stack Technology. Virtusa Experts has designed 42.8% of B.Tech Information Technology Curriculum. The faculty members of Department of Information Technology, R.M.K. Engineering College and Virtusa Experts carried out a collaborative research work on Whole Genome Sequencing.
Knowledge Partner Details – The Full Stack Engineering Centre of Excellence has been established through Memorandum of Understanding between Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited and R.M.K. Engineering College .The Advisory Committee Members are Mr.S.Rajkumar, Associate Director, Learning and Campus, Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited and Ms.S.Mohana Priya, Associate Director, Learning and Campus, Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited. Mr.S.Rajkumar is the Board of Studies Member of Information Technology Board.
MoU Signed Details – The Full Stack Engineering Centre of Excellence has been established through Memorandum of Understanding between Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited and R.M.K. Engineering College on 22nd March 2022.
Lab Established – The Full Stack Engineering Centre of Excellence has been established on 22nd March 2022 by Mr. Raghuveer, Senior Vice-President, Head Emerging Technologies, Virtusa Bengaluru and Vidya Ratna Shri. R.S. Munirathinam, Founder & Chairman.
Activities – The major activities organized through the Full Stack Engineering Centre of Excellence are summer and winter Internships provided by Virtusa for II & III Year IT Students, Conduct of Bootcamps on Full Stack Technology by Virtusa Experts and participation in Virtusa Jatayu, CodeLite, Engineering Equity and Neural Hack Contests. Internships are given to students at Virtusa to enhance their knowledge in the domain. Students are provided with an opportunity to work with Full Stack Engineering Projects during their internship.
Research:
- The Research Proposal titled “Interpretation Services of Covid-19 Genome Data” submitted for Rs.49,89,542/- to United States – India Science and Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF) – Covid 19 Ignition Grants in collaboration with Mr.Sabrish, Director, Life Sciences, Virtusa.
