About CoE
Artificial Intelligence CoE has been established in our Institution to train the students in the area of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Data Science with Cognizant as the Knowledge Partner. The main objective of this CoE is to enhance students with in-demand skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science and bridge the gap between industry and academia. As part of the CoE activities, Cognizant provides regular tech talks and bootcamps to share their knowledge on Data Science, Data Analytics, Data Visualization tools like PowerBI, and Machine Learning Model Deployment. Senior experts from cognizant conducted a one to one profiling of AI-CoE students to enable them prepare themselves for the hiring process and to become industry ready.
Knowledge Partner details
Cognizant provides 40% of the curriculum requirements and, which is thoroughly reviewed by senior Directors in Analytics Stream at Cognizant and other learned members of Board of Studies from both Industry and Academia. The designed curriculum focusses on project-based learning and every course is designed and evaluated in line with this. Focus is also given to laboratory courses that uses modern tools, in AI/ML & DS that are currently used in the industry like Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow, Pytorch, OpenCv Tableau, PowerBI, etc.. Cognizant also provides technical lectures and boot camps to our faculty and students on the recent trends in the industry that enrich students on industrial uses.
Lab established
Cognizant Artificial Intelligence CoE Lab was inaugurated by Mr. Raman Narasimhan, Vice President and Head of Artificial Intelligence CoE – Cognizant & Mr. M. Srinivasan, Senior Director – AI & Analytics – Cognizant on 6th March 2020. Big Data Analytics Lab was inaugurated by Mr. Mohan Krishnaswamy, Managing Director, iNautix Technologies India Pvt. Ltd on 26th May 2016.
