Dr. K. K. Sivagnana Prabhu B.E., M.Tech., M.B.A., Ph.D. had done his undergraduate &  masters degree in Chemical Engineering from Bharathiar University and Ph.D from Anna university, Chennai. He had also completed his MBA degree in Annamalai university.

He started his career as Lecturer & Head Training & Placement in Sriram Engineering college and served there for 15 months. He was appointed as Head Training & Corporate affairs in R.M.K Group of Engineering colleges till Nov 2022.He was then appointed as Dean – Career Development Centre from Dec 2022.

He served as a research supervisor in Anna University and 4 other universities and also produced 2 doctorates. He had published 14 research papers in International journals and conferences. Elected as a (member of National executive council of ISTE from Tamilnadu and Pondicherry sections) for 2 terms 2012-2014 and 2014-2019.Nominated as a (member of joint coordination committee of ISTE – VIT – FLSmith vocational training program for unemployed youth through FLSmith community college). He possesses membership in professional societies Indian Society Technical Education, The Institute of Engineers, Solar Energy Society of India ,International Association of Engineers.

Chief coordinator of RMK Group Centres of Excellence (CoE) for all departments to promote research & Entrepreneurship; Established 15 CoEs in various new technologies areas with Industry collaboration.

Every year around 150+ companies visit RMK Group of Institutions for the past 15 years, around 85% + Students were placed every year; Initiated the Business unit based hiring  to increase the core placements, Planning & conducting various Training programs for students to produce Job ready students.
