Dr.S.Thanga Ramya obtained her B.E(CSE) from Dr.Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering in 1999 and M.S by Research (ICE) from Anna University, Chennai in 2008.She has obtained her Ph.D in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2017. Her Ph,D thesis is “Performance Analysis of Optimization Techniques for Object Oriented Video Data Retrieval “. She has been in the teaching profession for the past 22 years and has handled both UG and PG programs. Her areas of interest include programming languages, database management, cloud computing and data mining.

She has published 34 papers in various International Journals and Conferences. She has also published five text books for the benefit of first year B.E/B.Tech students of Anna University. She has got Oracle java international certification, IBM RAD, TIVOLI, Oracle Cloud infrastructure foundation Associate, Oracle Cloud Operations Associate and Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2019 Certifications. She obtained DB2 certification and PRP certification from Wipro. She secured bronze medal from Infosys for the campus connect program. She received best teacher award from Insc. She is the life member of ISTE and Insc.
