About Us
R.M.K. Engineering College, started in the year 1995 by Lakshmikanthammal Educational Trust, is
situated in a picturesque environment at Kavaraipettai, Gummidipoondi taluk, at a distance of 30km from
Chennai. The College has, over the last 25 years, striven to achieve a coveted position in terms of
imparting knowledge and discipline among students in terms of public acknowledgement and acceptance.
The following are some of the features/achievements of the college
- 9 UG programs (Civil, CSE, EEE, ECE, EIE, Mechanical, IT (Virtusa Batch Adoption Program), Computer Science and Business Systems (TCS Powered Program), Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Knowledge Partner: Cognizant)) and 3 PG programs (Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering & Power Electronics and Drives). 6 Departments are recognized as Research Centers by Anna University.
